Worth it or not
Crowns, veneers, inlays, root canals and implants at private practices across Budapest that publish a forint price list with their own street address. This is the short-flight case, and it is the one where the arithmetic actually needs doing: a zirconia crown is roughly half the Dutch price rather than a tenth of it, and an implant package lands around half. Against Da Nang, Budapest is the dearer city on almost every item.
That is not the end of the argument, because the trip is the other half of it. Budapest is two and a half hours from Amsterdam for the price of a train ticket, a crown can be fitted across two visits in one week, and a problem afterwards is a short flight away rather than a long one. For one or two crowns the flight difference usually outweighs the treatment difference; for a full-arch case it stops doing so. The calculator is the place to settle it, because the answer depends on how much work you need, not on which city is cheapest per item.
Prices here are what the practices print in forint, converted at the stored rate. Hungarian clinics quote per unit and list preparatory work separately, so a crown price is the crown: bone grafting, extractions and temporary restorations are their own lines. Several clinics also advertise seasonal discounts, which are not recorded here.
