Worth it or not
Prices come from medical supply shops (Gyógymankó on Katona József utca, SmartMedical on Szent László út), from insole workshops that work by appointment, and from the measuring point of an orthopaedic shoemaker on István út. Compression stockings, a splinted wrist brace, custom insoles and a foot and gait assessment are far cheaper than at home. Forearm crutches are only a little cheaper, a folding walking stick is about level with the Dutch price, and a hinged knee brace costs more in Budapest. Made-to-measure shoes have no Dutch price to compare, and made-to-measure stockings have no Budapest price.
Read the date on each row: insoles and the assessment come from older lists than the rest. Check the unit: the braces and the stick are single pieces, most of the rest are pairs. SmartMedical shows a discount on its braces and stick, so its regular price is higher. The shoes are priced from the maker's private list.
