Worth it or not
Mostly hospital tariffs: private hospitals that print a service price list (in Hai Bà Trưng, Đống Đa and Tây Hồ) and dermatology clinics such as S Beauty in Cầu Giấy. They price consultations, wart and skin tag electrocautery, suture removal, biopsies and tumour excisions. Where a Dutch price exists, Hanoi is cheaper, by a wide margin for laser sessions and tumour excisions, but the family doctor at home does suture removal and wart electrocautery for free, so those rows show no saving. Da Nang is cheaper still on the items both towns price.
Hospital lists carry an insurance price and a service price; the rows use the service price, which a patient without insurance pays. Thu Cúc lists a separate, higher visit fee for foreigners who need an interpreter. Hồng Phát's tumour excision prices are a range for the surgeon's work only, with stay, anaesthesia and materials extra. The laser and IPL rows are a clinic's price for an acne or acne-mark session, not the larger laser treatment set against it at home.
