Lohnt sich oder nicht
Kronen, Veneers, Inlays, Wurzelkanalbehandlungen und Implantate bei privaten Praxen in ganz Budapest, die eine Preisliste in Forint mit eigener Straßenadresse veröffentlichen. Das ist der Fall des kurzen Flugs, und genau der Fall, bei dem sich das Rechnen wirklich lohnt: Eine Zirkonoxidkrone kostet hier grob die Hälfte des niederländischen Preises statt nur ein Zehntel davon, und ein Implantatpaket liegt bei etwa der Hälfte. Gegenüber Da Nang ist Budapest bei fast jeder Position die teurere Stadt.
Damit ist die Rechnung nicht zu Ende, denn die Reise ist die andere Hälfte davon. Budapest liegt zweieinhalb Stunden von Amsterdam entfernt, zum Preis eines Zugtickets, eine Krone lässt sich in zwei Terminen innerhalb einer Woche einsetzen, und geht danach etwas schief, sitzt man auf einem kurzen statt einem langen Flug. Bei ein oder zwei Kronen überwiegt der Unterschied bei den Reisekosten meist den Unterschied bei den Behandlungskosten, bei einem vollständigen Kieferfall nicht mehr. Der Rechner ist die richtige Stelle, um das zu klären, denn die Antwort hängt davon ab, wie viel Arbeit nötig ist, nicht davon, welche Stadt pro Position am günstigsten ist.
Die Preise hier sind das, was die Praxen in Forint ausweisen, umgerechnet zum hinterlegten Kurs. Ungarische Kliniken rechnen pro Einheit ab und führen vorbereitende Arbeiten getrennt auf, ein Kronenpreis ist also die Krone: Knochenaufbau, Extraktionen und Provisorien stehen als eigene Positionen. Mehrere Kliniken werben zudem mit saisonalen Rabatten, die hier nicht erfasst sind.
