## Worth it or not

Reis- en routinevaccins bij aanbieders die een prijs per dosis publiceren: de vaccinatieketens VNVC en Long Châu, elk met een centrum aan de Hai Bà Trưng, en publieke ziekenhuizen zoals Gia Định in Bình Thạnh. Alles wat met Nederland is vergeleken, is goedkoper, het meest bij Japanse encefalitis, hepatitis B en rabiës. Bij HPV en gordelroos wordt het verschil kleiner, en MenQuadfi is maar iets goedkoper. Ho Chi Minhstad is bij bijna elk vaccin dat Bangkok en Boedapest ook prijzen goedkoper.

De prijzen gelden per dosis: voor een hele reeks, bijvoorbeeld tegen rabiës, reken je de prijs van de regel keer het aantal doses dat je nodig hebt. De meeste regels noemen het product (Verorab, Typhim Vi, Boostrix), en een ander merk is een andere regel. VNVC toont een lagere prijs voor wie binnenloopt naast een hogere voor wie vooraf reserveert, en de regels gebruiken de lagere. De ketens publiceren dezelfde lijst voor al hun centra, dus vraag na of het vaccin op voorraad is, en let op de datum: Long Châu zegt dat zijn lijst ter indicatie dient en kan veranderen. Vlucht en hotel reken je er zelf bij.
