## Worth it or not

Reis- en routinevaccins bij aanbieders die een prijs per dosis publiceren: het vaccinatiecentrum van het nationale hygiëne-instituut aan de Lò Đúc, de ketens VNVC (Cát Linh) en Long Châu (Thái Hà) en een huisartsencentrum. Vrijwel alles wat vergeleken is, is goedkoper dan in Nederland, het meest bij Japanse encefalitis, hepatitis B, rabiës en tyfus. Het verschil is kleiner bij HPV, gordelroos en MenQuadfi, die ook in Hanoi prijzig zijn. Bij hetzelfde vaccin liggen de aanbieders meestal dicht bij elkaar, dus kijk wat elk centrum op voorraad heeft.

De prijzen gelden per dosis, dus een reeks, bijvoorbeeld tegen rabiës, kost de prijs van de regel keer het aantal doses dat je nodig hebt. Elke regel noemt het product (Verorab, Typhim Vi, Boostrix), en een ander merk is een andere regel. VNVC toont een lagere prijs voor wie binnenloopt naast een hogere prijs voor wie vooraf reserveert, en de ketens publiceren dezelfde lijst voor al hun centra, dus vraag de voorraad na bij het centrum. Kijk ook naar de datum bij elke regel: Long Châu noemt zijn lijst een indicatie die kan veranderen.
