# Privacy

cheaper abroad is run by bb-projects. Questions about this page, or a request to see or delete what we hold about you: hello@cheaper-abroad.com.

## What we collect

**Page visits.** A self-hosted copy of Umami counts which pages are read, from which country, device and browser, and which site sent you. It sets no cookie and does not store your IP address. Add `?umami=off` to any address on this site and your browser is no longer counted.

**The "this is wrong" form.** When you report a price, we keep what you typed, the page you sent it from and, only if you give one, your email address. We use it to check the price and, if you asked, to reply. It is not used for anything else.

**Two cookies.** `tm_home` and `tm_cur` remember the home country and currency you picked, for a year. They hold nothing else. There are no advertising or tracking cookies, which is why this site shows no cookie banner.

**Your own browser.** The calculator basket and the light or dark setting stay in your browser. They are never sent to us.

## Who else sees it

The site is served through Cloudflare, which handles your connection and tells us the country you are in, so the first page can compare prices with the right home country. Nothing is sold or passed to advertisers, and there are no accounts.

## Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted: write to hello@cheaper-abroad.com. You can also complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
